Location: Bruderheim, AB (approximately 12 km north of Bruderheim on Range Road 204)

Work Schedule: Shifts are normally 10+ hours. NOT a camp position. MUST live in the area, or be willing to commute. On-call and shift work may occur when site demands change (ex. Spring plant startup)  

Rate of Pay: $46.85+

Essential: Reliable, hard-working, safety conscious, team player, ability to work a flexible schedule and long days.

Requirements:    

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
• Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)
• Journeyman certificate

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Mask Fit Testing
• Baseline Testing (respiratory)

Journeyperson Electrician Responsibilities:

• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Journeyperson Electrician Qualifications:

• 5 + years Journeyperson Electrician ticket in good standing
• Good troubleshooting skills, repair abilities and installation skills required.
• PLC, VFD and Fiber Optic cabling knowledge would be considered an asset.
• Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
